Cathy Doring – Physiotherapist

Cathy Doring is an APA Titled Tier 2 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with more than 25 years of experience in treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries in a wide variety of settings including a number of private practices that she has owned in New South Wales and Queensland. She has also volunteered as a physiotherapist with Team Singapore as part of the Medical Team at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Cathy has used her extensive knowledge in her work as a clinical educator with Physiotherapy Masters students at the University of Queensland, and to deliver educational programs and presentations for:
- Personal trainers – training with injuries, training during pregnancy
- Sporting Clubs
- Arthritis Foundation
- Sports Trainers – Lvl 1 and 2 Courses
- Hospital Settings – Workplace Health and Safety for nurses, biomedical scientists and other health professionals
In her spare time, Cathy enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including bush walking and water sports.
Special Interest Areas: Difficult, acute and severe back and neck pain.
Cathy has completed more than 70 continuing education courses in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
